This qualification will provide you with practical skills and knowledge in a range of metals and engineering industry areas. You will learn skills in using tools, measuring and calculating, technical drawing and terminating electrical wiring. You will also learn about safety in the workplace, computing and maths. You will learn in a simulated working environment and be exposed to an industrial setting on work experience. This means starting on time, setting goals, achieving work in a given time frame and working as part of a team.
