Gain the skills to assist allied health staff (physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists) with the implementation of patient rehabilitation or maintenance therapy programs.

Clients are from a range of ages with varying presentations including physical disabilities, medical conditions, mental health conditions, ageing, developmental disability, communication difficulties and/or social disadvantage. The assistant may gain employment in both public and private health settings such as community rehabilitation centers, public hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, mental health clinics, private practices and community health centres.
