When you complete the Certificate IV in Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising you will gain the knowledge and skills to use a sewing machine, identify influences on contemporary fashion, apply colour theory principles, identify and source different fibres and fabrics, draw technical and trade drawings, design and produce bespoke garments, network within the industry, use computer generated design and apply workplace health and safety.
