This qualification will teach you the nursing skills and knowledge required to be eligible for enrolment with the nursing and midwifery regulatory authorities. During this course you will gain experience in a number of supervised clinical practices in different health settings, providing you with a range of experiences required for professional nursing.

You will learn about anatomy and physiology, infection control, legal and ethical parameters of nursing practice. You will advance your skills and knowledge in Enrolled Nursing in areas of specialisation, such as client assessment, care and management. You will apply research skills within a contemporary health environment and will learn skills in areas such as mental health, perioperative nursing and acute care nursing. 

On completion of the Diploma of Nursing graduates can gain employment in the health industry. Entry to the Diploma of Nursing is very competitive. It is recommended that you discuss your application with a career development adviser.

VET Student Loans
