Equine

Care for and handle horses and maintain stables, studs and agistment centres, learn skills in stable management, transporting horses, basic riding, grooming, hoof care, horse health and handling, gear and rugging, race day procedures and breeding. Learn to ride or drive and handle horses during trackwork, race meetings and trials in either the thoroughbred or harness racing industries. Also learn about the principles of sports science relevant to jockeys and how to participate in media interviews, race protests, inquiries and appeals.

Environmental Science
