Grow a career in landscaping

This qualification will assist you to gain employment in the landscaping, horticulture, and conservation and land management industry. You'll gain the practical skills and knowledge require to work in landscaping roles in domestic, commercial and/or industrial settings.

You do not need to have any prior experience and this may be a great option if you are currently registered as unemployed and/or referred by community agencies.
All of our classes have extensive resources and are run by highly experienced lecturers.

You will learn skills to maintain and construct domestic and commercial landscapes and recreational landscape structures.

You may be able to attain a triple qualification adding the Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, and Certificate II in Horticulture, to this Certificate by enrolling in additional units.

Gain these skills

Develop trade level skills and knowledge such as

  • laying paving
  • constructing low profile modular or timber retaining walls
  • installing aggregate paths
  • identifying plants
  • treating weeds, pests and diseases
  • planting trees and shrubs
  • operate basic machinery and equipment
