This Certificate III in Mining Exploration will help prepare you for entry level jobs in the mining industry such as a pit or underground technician, drilling offsider or geological field assistant.
You'll learn how to collect and analyse geological samples, record information and look after the practical tasks involved in servicing a remote field operation.
You'll also learn basic vehicle maintenance, mining computing, first aid and mining methods.
To improve your employment prospects you will be enrolled in a four wheel drive unit as part of this course so you will need to have a current (manual or automatic) Driver's Licence.
