When you complete the Certificate II in Salon Assistant you will have skills to impress potential employers as a salon assistant on your way to becoming a hairdresser. You will gain the knowledge and skills to support hairdressers in a salon, shampooing, colouring, braiding hair, maintaining hairdressing tools, scheduling appointments, merchandising and applying workplace health and safety, along with designing and applying makeup as an additional skill set.
