Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

If you are passionate about supporting people with disability to reach their potential and live their own life, then this is the job for you.

When you complete the Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) you will be on a pathway to develop a career in the rewarding and sometimes challenging world of disability work. You could be a disability support worker in the following settings/environments: residential, individual support, employment, recreational and/or day support, advocacy and case management.

Develop your career opportunities by supporting people with disability to gain skills and knowledge to move towards a more independent and self-determined life. You will also gain skills in communicating, networking and working with relevant people to ensure the person with disability is supported in all aspects of their life.

The Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) includes a supervised work placement, where you will be able to apply your training in a meaningful and relevant way. This qualification includes a 120 hour supervised work placement in a facility providing services to disabled clients. You will need to obtain a police clearance.  It is strongly recommended that you see your doctor about having a flu vaccination.

VET Student Loans

VET Student Loans is the new program that replaces the current VET FEE HELP scheme.
