When you complete the Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care you will be on your way to a career as an outside school hours’ carer or school holiday program coordinator for children aged between 6 and 12 years.
You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the education sector, supporting the development of children, implementing inclusion strategies, understanding legal, ethical and administrative requirements, first aid, working with cultural diversity and workplace health and safety.
As part of this qualification you will undertake work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.
