Do you aspire to a career as an assistant fashion designer, CAD operator, CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) operator, fabric and supply technician or patternmaker?

The Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising course builds on student fashion skills.  Some of these skills include:

·Conceptual design development

·Fashion illustration

·Textile development and manipulation techniques

·Digital print development

·Digital fashion and production technologies 

·Specialist patternmaking

·CAD patternmaking and grading

·Specialist garment construction including bras and swimwear, tailored fully lined jackets, boned bodices and leatherwork.

Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:

Successful completion of this course prepares you for roles such as, Fashion Designer and Clothing Trades Worker.
