When you complete the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising you will be ready to work as an assistant fashion designer, CAD operator, CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) operator, fabric and supply technician, or patternmaker/grader.

The Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising course builds on student fashion skills through strong emphasis on conceptual design development, fashion illustration, textile development and manipulation techniques, digital print development, digital fashion and production technologies, specialist patternmaking, CAD patternmaking and grading, and specialist garment construction including bras and swimwear, tailored fully lined jackets, boned bodices and leatherwork.
