When you complete the Diploma of Community, you will gain the knowledge and skills to communicate and work effectively in the community services sector, developing and managing community programs, promoting social, emotional and physical wellbeing, responding to critical situations, managing service delivery, developing policy and research, coordinating volunteers, developing and maintaining professional networks, working with cultural diversity, ethical behaviour and legal responsibilities.

You will have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management, providing direct support to individuals or groups. You may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers.
