Does your dream career involve a lot of exercise?

The Certificate IV in Fitness gives you the skills and knowledge you need to be a qualified personal trainer.

You will learn how to run your own business, work with teens, and conduct group and outdoor personal training. You will also learn how to apply the skills of functional anatomy and strength and conditioning techniques to your training programs.

Many of our graduates go on to have successful fitness careers, working as trainers in gyms, outdoors, or even owning their own studio.

Fitness Instructor | Personal Trainer | Fitness Centre Manager | Gym instructor | Physical Fitness Trainer | Aerobics Instructor |
Upon graduation, students may obtain registration with the industry peak body (Fitness Australia) as a Personal Trainer in order to gain employment within the fitness industry delivering a range of individualised or group exercise programs to a variety of clients and/or client groups. Graduates may also operate as sole traders or contractors within gym or recreation centre facility.

Certificate III in Fitness

Do you want to get physical?

In one semester you can gain a Certificate III in Fitness, and work in the fitness industry straight away. The Certificate III teaches you the skills and knowledge required to be a gym instructor and group exercise instructor.

You will be able to assess fitness levels, design effective training programs, and deliver fun, high-energy, group exercise sessions. You will also learn about anatomy, healthy eating, and how to work with older adults and children.

Our graduates are highly regarded in the fitness industry for having depth of knowledge, and well practiced skills that can't be developed during a short course or online.

  • Plan and deliver fitness, endurance, and group exercise programs

Nail Technology

Develop the practical skills and knowledge to care for and enhance the appearance of nails.Learn about how to provide manicures, pedicures and specialised nail enhancement procedures such as gel and acrylic nails. You can also choose to learn how to apply nail art.
