It encompasses areas such as internal and external painting and decorating on a variety of surfaces, and includes the decoration of new and existing homes, hospitals, shops, hotels and buildings of historical significance. Signcrafters use a variety of materials and techniques such as painting, computer graphics, vinyl, wood, foam, plastic, glass, gold leaf and engraving to provide eye catching designs.

Builders are the key to coordinating the construction or renovation of houses and commercial buildings. Builders are involved in every aspect of the project from interpreting the plans, to quotation, through to organising various trade sub-contractors to complete the build. Learn how to use plumbing hand and power tools, handle and store plumbing materials and operate elevated work platforms. You will cover such topics such as drainage, gas fitting, roof plumbing, water stream and sanitary. Gasfitters work with gas lines and gas related appliances, including hot water systems and space heating systems.
