In this introductory course you will develop skills such as drawing fundamentals and a range of techniques using mixed media, to digital art, including basic photography and manipulating digital images, and you'll also learn how create ceramic and sculpture artworks.

Each term you will focus on a specific subject such as ceramicssculpturedrawing or digital art.

This course will give you an immersive visual arts experience, where you'll be able to explore a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and digital art. Plus you'll gain skills in contextual studies and safety and sustainability in the visual arts.

The Certificate IV in Visual Arts will further develop your practical skills and knowledge enabling you to create original artworks in a range of areas including painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, 2D and 3D design and textile art.
