Do you have what it takes to care for people?

This course will prepare you to become a health care worker. This is an active, physical career which provides assistance to healthcare staff and clients.

This course includes online study.  You will need to have basic computer skills to be able to complete this course.

You will be required to have the following checks prior to work placement.

  • National Police Clearance (Form available at the post office. Needs to be completed and submitted to post office asap)
  • Working With Children Check (Form will be given to you at orientation)
  • Medical screening and immunisations (Form will be given to you at orientation)
  • Uniform is a requirement for this course (This requirement will be discussed on the first day. Uniform is navy blue scrub top and pants, with closed in shoes.)

Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:

Nursing Support Worker, Orderly, Person Care Assistant and Therapy Aide
