Community services workers work with individuals, groups and communities to identify what social, emotional, psychological, practical and other supports people need to deal with life’s difficulties and challenges. They encourage and assist people to access those services and advocate social justice. Community Service workers have a powerful effect on the lives of individuals and on the way our society deals with social changes, challenges and issues.
