This qualification will provide you with technical and non-technical aviation skills to operate effectively in a broad range of ground operations and service roles.  When you complete the Certificate IV in Aviation (Aviation Supervision) you will be on your way to a career managing the ground operations of an airport: airline services, airport operation and other ground services.

Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot)

National ID: AVI30419 | State ID: BES9

This qualification is relevant to individuals operating remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS), in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and national operating standards. Remote pilots operating at this level will apply non-technical and technical knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy and judgement and will take limited responsibility in known and stable operational contexts within established regulatory parameters. Licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. This qualification aligns to Remote Pilot Licensing requirements described in Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) Part 101 — Unmanned aircraft and rockets and Part 101 Manual of Standards. Civil and military personnel seeking certification as remote pilots should check requirements with CASA.

Pilot Studies

Learn about different aircraft, aerodynamics, meteorology, airplane performance, navigation, flight rules, radio telephony, as well as additional training such as aviation First Aid, basic fire extinguisher training, and more.

Fishing Operations

Cabin Crew

Cabin crew are directly responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers and other crew members. This training pathway has been developed in conjunction with commercial airlines and experienced cabin crew training managers and offers valuable experience and skills in emergency response drills, first aid, responsible service of alcohol, customer service skills, personal grooming, and preparation for cabin duties.
