Commercial Cookery

These qualifications will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to plan, organise, prepare and cook food in a commercial kitchen environment as a qualified cook or cook in a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen.  Work would be undertaken in various kitchen settings, such as in restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes, cafeterias, coffee shops, hospitals and aged care facilities, sporting and entertainment venues, hotel banqueting departments, cook-chill production kitchens and mobile catering businesses of varying size.
